At Lalambik, an art studio created by visual artists Karina Vagradova and Carmen Ibarra, we love welcoming visitors! Our doors are open to the residents of Russafa and all of Valencia. It's not uncommon to find an art event, discussion group, presentation, or other artists here with whom to share special moments. We might even have an exhibition by a guest artist on the day of your visit. In any case, it will be a memorable experience.
We are also delighted to expand our horizons, so we open our studio to groups of visitors who come from outside to our beloved city to offer them a lovely time accompanied by a glass of wine (or two), a tapa, chatting with them, telling them what's happening here, revealing some open secrets (where the studios are, artistic events or interesting exhibitions) and other crucial topics to enjoy art and culture in Valencia.
Here you can learn about our work firsthand, the processes behind it, and the stories behind it. You can also see completed projects and those currently being developed in this space.
Anyone who wishes can purchase the artworks for their private collection. Here you will find paintings in large and small formats, original works on wood and paper, limited edition prints, graphic art, and experimental techniques, as well as works in progress where you can see the techniques employed. In short, discover this space full of surprises, often called the "artist's kitchen." We will also give a short live painting demonstration so you can experience the magic of art firsthand.
Also, if you're up for it and have two hours to spare, you can even get creative with us! We have several short workshops designed for these occasions. We can offer you a workshop on... Introduction to Watercolor, Chinese ink, sketching or cyanotype (only on sunny days) and even one with a live model, where you will carry out a beautiful artistic exercise that you will take home.
We also invite you to join our regular live drawing workshop on Wednesdays at 7 pm www.lalambik.art/modelo. It's a workshop open to everyone.
Art has the power to take you back to the moment and place where it was created, so you will take away a wonderful memory materialized in a small work of art made by yourself.

Workshop 1. Watercolor. Introduction to color and brushstroke.
Workshop 2. Oriental workshop. We will paint some bamboo with India ink.
Workshop 3. Cyanotype (check availability only on sunny days)
Workshop 4. Sketching. We will draw the city so you can take home an artistic souvenir.
